i need some help 1st birthday party boy?

what are some good websites for birthday party themes for boys, i dont like winnie the pooh. all the ones i looked at it was all the same, am a single mom i dont get help from the father and i dont have alot of money but am going to try my best to give my son a good birthday party. thank you for your help.

Which one do you think will be the best one for me to use? I wanted to use the under the sea one because my son is an aquarius, then I thought about the safari one because that’s the theme in his room. I also love the rugrats but that seems like for an older party. Or should I just go with something that has lots of blue? Decisions, decisions…

This may sound like a terrible answer, but for my daughter’s First Birthday, my husband and I decided to throw a party for US! I mean, the party was for our daughter. Her name is Isabella, we call her Izzy, and for her theme was IzzFest 2007. We invited our friends (none of whom have kids), had a BBQ and a full bar. The invitations looked like flyers for a band, with Izzy’s picture, the “venue” (our house) and food/drinks. We also made t-shirts with IzzFest 2007 on the front and “One year down, a lifetime to go” on the back.

I made a beautiful cake (hot pink, purple and gray) and TONS of sprinkles. We decorated with those colors as well. And we made her a special cupcake (adorable) that sat as a cake topper until her time to eat it.

My husband and I figured this would probably be the only party we’d have control over before it became about pony’s and princesses. So we wanted it to be as fun, creative and cool as possible – without a cheesy item in site. To this day, people still talk about it…

My point is, you don’t have to go with store themes. I am the least creative person I know, yet when it came to my daughter I knew “feisty” was the way to go and we did our best to harness that theme.

so my sons 1st birthday is next month and i still have picked out a theme yet,he loves the movie cars i put it on for him everyday he also watches Go Diego go every single day when it is on

We did a skull party for my sons first birthday and a NY Yankees theme for his second. What does your brother like? Take something he likes and incorporate this into his party. Make it fun so everyone can also identify and have fun. Just have cake music and games and you should be ready to go.

Motorcycle theme for baby boys 1st birthday. Where can i find stuff for it.?

My husband wants a motorcycle theme for our sons 1st birthday. Where the h*ll do we find party supplies for a motorcycle theme and yes i checked oriental trading co but their stuff was cheesy. There will be a moon walk and food and a pinata and our bikes will be there but where do i find the plates and the pinata and so forth? there will be a few kids there but this is mostly adults and the birthday boy. any food ideas it needs to not be fancy or expensive since because of the theme and number of guest which will be about 50+ where can i get a cake done where it wont be that nasty tasting sheet cake with the crappy icing? or where can i find a kit to do the cake myself?
